Debra Penberthy

Debra Penberthy has three decades of experience in higher education as a coach, mentor, and teacher.
Formally trained in classical music and having studied performance during her MFA at California Institute of the Arts,
she wrote and produced a one-woman-musical called Serious Rabbit.
While creating pieces for her show, she discovered that needle felting
allowed her to create the anthropomorphized rabbits and dogs of her imaginings.
She has branched out into creating magical landscapes and creatures with armature wire
allowing them to be posed and styled for display or for animation.
